ACLS Heartcode Skills Test

About Skills Sessions, Parts 2 & 3

A skills session is the hands-on portion of an AHA eLearning course and includes Parts 2 and 3—skills practice and testing. It is conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online. Course Cost $140

 

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Original)

The ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology.

This is a magnificent change; even those not yet up for renewal can update by watching the videos and gaining new information before Renewal or Initial class. Directions will be given in your registration email.

 

Skills are taught in large-group sessions and small-group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

Do You Need BLS? You can also get your BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification during this course by adding the AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Online  Course from the menu below. Complete Part 1 online via the Internet, print the completion certificate and bring it with you on the day of the course. This is a skills session for people who have already taken the bls course online and need to take the skills check for their ecard.

When you arrive you need to show us your proof of having taken the test with a name matching your ID on it.

Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid Skills Test

HEARTSAVER CPR/AED Course

The Heartsaver® CPR AED course is intended for all individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, including: security guards, airline personnel, police, and firefighters.  ​It is also appropriate for lay rescuers who may have a need to respond to an emergency in the workplace, and family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.

HEARTSAVER FIRST AID

The First Aid course provides first responders with training in basic first-aid procedures. The course covers: First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies.  It is also appropriate for lay rescuers who may have a need to respond to an emergency in the workplace, and family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.



Course Cost: $65.00

Heartsaver FIRST AID and CPR/AED

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course, which teaches participants critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. This course also teaches adult CPR AED. The course is based on the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

N95 Respirator Fit Testing

Fit tests are essential to insuring that a respirator forms a good seal against the user’s face and prevents contaminants from leaking into the mask. Manufactures provide fitting instructions and use limitations on the product package. Respirator face pieces are made in various sizes to fit a wide variety of face shapes and sizes.
